Where to Enter Amazon Codes: Promo, Gift Card & Fire TV

For a promotional code, add eligible items to your cart and proceed to checkout. In the payment section, select the option to add a gift card or promotional code, enter the code, and apply it before placing your order. Check the order summary to confirm the discount appears.

An Amazon code might be a promotional discount, a gift card claim code, or a device registration code. The instructions that came with it should identify its purpose; a code intended for a Fire TV setup will not work in a checkout discount field.

Promo codes may require a specific product, seller, minimum purchase, or expiration date. Read the offer terms and compare them with the items in your cart if the discount does not appear after you select Apply.

If your code is for an Amazon gift card, you can redeem it to your account balance or apply it during checkout. Keep the claim code private, and verify the balance or payment breakdown before completing a purchase.

Applying a code does not always reduce every charge: exclusions, shipping, and taxes can affect the final total. Confirm the amount shown on the last checkout screen, then use the order button only when the price matches your expectations.
