Where to Enter an Amazon Code at Checkout

Add eligible items to your cart and select Proceed to Checkout. On the checkout page, look for a section labeled “Gift cards & promotional codes” or “Use a gift card, voucher, or promo code.” Enter the code exactly as provided, then select Apply before placing your order.

Some Amazon promotions work only on specific products, sellers, or order amounts. Check the offer terms against the items in your cart before entering the code; a qualifying item may need to be sold by Amazon.com rather than a third-party seller.

Use the gift card or promotional code field during checkout, not the delivery instructions or search box. If you are using the Amazon app, expand the payment or gift card section if the entry field is not immediately visible, then tap Apply after typing or pasting the code.

After selecting Apply, review the order summary before you place the order. Look for a promotional discount line and compare the updated order total with the total shown before you entered the code; if neither changes, the code has not reduced your purchase price.

Recheck the code for missing characters, extra spaces, and expiration dates. If Amazon displays an eligibility message, compare the offer’s minimum purchase, product, and seller requirements with your cart, then adjust the cart or use another valid offer.
