How to Get an Amazon Promotion Code and Use It

Start on the Amazon product page. Eligible items may display a coupon you can select before adding the item to your cart. If you already have a promotion code, enter it in the “Gift cards & promotional codes” field during checkout, then confirm that the discount appears before placing your order.

Amazon promotions can apply only to specific products, sizes, colors, or sellers. Open the offer terms and compare them with the exact item in your cart; switching to a different variation may remove the discount.

Check Amazon’s Coupons and Today’s Deals pages for discounts you can claim without typing a code. Some offers require you to select a coupon or activate a promotion first, so take that step before proceeding to checkout.
A code may have an expiration date, a minimum purchase amount, or a limit on how many times it can be used. Review those conditions and check whether the discount applies to the item price rather than shipping or taxes.
A code that looks valid may not work with another offer or an ineligible item. At checkout, compare the order total before and after applying it, and remove the code if it does not lower the price as expected. For more ways to plan your deal searches, see the Amazon promo code calendar guide.
Check Amazon product pages, Coupons, and Today’s Deals for current offers. If an offer provides a code, copy it and enter it during checkout.
Amazon’s own offer pages and product listings are good places to start. A code is only useful if it is unexpired and applies to the item in your cart.
Availability changes by item, account, and date. Check Amazon’s current deals and coupons, then verify any discount at checkout.
